Get your vehicle ready for winter! | Weather
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The change in the weather signals all of us in Northeast Ohio that the winter weather will soon be upon us.
Now is the best time to prepare for driving in the snow.
Checking your brakes, hoses, spark plugs, filters, battery, tires and antifreeze levels right now can save you time, aggravation and money when the snow begins to fly. Also, make sure your spare tire is properly inflated.
Equip the trunk of each car with a shovel (to help dig out if you become stuck in the snow), jumper cables, bag of salt or kitty litter (again to help you out should your tires become stuck in snow or ice), a tool kit, flashlight, blanket, snow brush or ice scraper, and road flares or reflective devices to help you and your car be seen at night should you become disabled on the road.
Don't wait until the storm arrives to properly prepare.
Schedule time this weekend to make sure you are ready for Northeast Ohio's winter season.
