18-year-old shot during robbery | News
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO)- An 18-year-old shot in the leg during a robbery Wednesday night.
It happened at 8:30PM at Dolloff and McBride in Cleveland.
The preliminary investigation reveals that Trevonne Clemens was walking with a 13-year-old boy to the store when they were approached by two men.
One man had a gun and told the victims to "grab the fence." One suspect then punched the 13-year-old in the mouth. The suspects went through both victims pockets, taking a small amount of money from each. The gunman then fired several shots, striking Clemens in the leg. The 13-year-old was not shot. The suspects fled the area.
Clemens transported to St. Vincent Charity Hospital for treatment. No word on his condition at this time.
