Police plan driver’s license checkpoint | Transportation

Eastside drivers should be prepared to be carded tonight.

Officers will conduct a driver’s license checkpoint on Aug. 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight at E. 55th Street and Scovill Avenue.

The checkpoint is designed to deter and intercept unlicensed drivers, said Calvin Williams, Commander of the Third District of the Cleveland Division of Police.
