National health center week | Community Spirit

Aug. 8th to 14 th  

Aug. 9th marks the start of National Health Center Week when communities across the country celebrate the importance of America’s Community Health Centers and their role in providing affordable and accessible high quality health care to low income and uninsured Americans.

Cleveland’s celebration of National Health Center Week will include opening remarks from Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, an expert led panel discussion, remarks by Congressman Dennis Kucinich, remarks by Mayor Frank Jackson and Keynote Address from Dr. Alvin Jackson, Director of the Ohio Department of Health. The event will take place 10a.m. to 2p.m. at the Visiting Nurses Association located at 2500 East 22nd Street.
