NFW Challenge 2013:   415 / 460 Adoptions

Dixie is a beautiful, darling Southern Belle from Louisiana.  Even though she is named for her birthplace in Dixie, this little girl is loving life in Ohio.  She was actually rescued after Hurricane Isaac hit her area.  In need of medical care, she was brought back to Ohio.  Dixie is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves to be cuddled and pampered.  She just needs a family to call her own.

Dixie takes daily medication to maintain her successful recovery, and her care is easy.  She also is no longer able to use her back legs to walk.  Therefore, she was fitted with a custom wheel cart.  You can see the beautifully inspiring transformation in the video above.  Dixie does not even know she has any handicaps at all.  She is in the action, looking for the next pet, cuddle, or play.  She absolutely loves life and would like nothing more than to share her love with you.

To adopt Dixie today, contact Dogs Unlimited Rescue in Pepper Pike at gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org or visit www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org.
