CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Women in Law (WIL) section will host is inaugural Food Fight culinary competition and fundraiser on Thursday, May 26 in the Galleria from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Created to support WIL’s Build, Innovate, Grow (BIG) initiative, this evening includes culinary competition by some of the area's premier law firms and companies, cooking demonstrations, a silent auction and more, all to benefit its BIG initiatives – created to make bigger difference in the lives of other women and ultimately, in the strength of the city.
The Food Fight will feature the culinary artistry of Pura Vida, Cleveland’s newest urban bistro, as well as the creations of teams from throughout the legal community who will work from a selection of recipes create their own culinary masterpiece.
“We designed this truly groundbreaking event to celebrate the competitive spirit of our profession and our willingness to roll up our sleeves to make a difference,” said Elaine Eisner, co-chair of WIL and principal the Eisner Gohn Group. “This is an example of the positive effort being made by women for women. Collectively, we are taking action and raising money to further address the challenges women and young girls face in our community.”
General admission tickets are $60. VIP passes are $100 and include prime seating in the Pura Vida VIP lounge, an event signature apron, a champagne reception from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
